New Weekly Poll
Well, there was a lot of input this week. Even though White Christmas was the winner, “other” votes included 4 for Christmas Vacation, two for Die Hard (Thanks for your input, ‘honey), and one for The Christmas Shoes. I had no idea what that movie was (hence the link), but hey, go Rob Lowe, right?
Since December 24th, I have been in Florence, enjoying Christmas and the Holidays with my family. As always, Christmas seems to get better with every year and couldn’t have asked for a better time. One of our oldest Christmas traditions is seeing a movie on Christmas Day and of course, this year was no different. We all gathered in to see Nine. There is only one word to describe that movie: Ouch. Oowie. Eek. Yikes. In other words, not good. When you walk away from a Daniel Day Lewis movie and the one thing you come away with is “Fergie did really well,” you know you’re in trouble. Nonetheless, the holiday season is jam packed with movies, so you decide: Which movie is the best this holiday season?
On a side note, The Senate passed their version of the Health Care Bill 60-39, the Indianapolis Colts were handed their first loss, and the Clemson Tigers are Music City Bowl champions. Happy Monday and have a Happy New Year.

Up in the Air was my vote. Seriously good movie. Although my dad keeps talking about Avatar in 3D…he’s a big scifi nerd though.

It was great seeing you, Will. Christmas was good, as always with family. Haven’t seen Avatar or Up In The Air but really enjoyed It’s Complicated. Super movie!!
Christmas Shoes is a heart-warming movie – rent it if you get a chance. See you next trip home.

The best Christmas movie is so obviously The Godfather series. Why? Because they inexplicably play it every Christmas on Bravo or some random channel. Other than that, I have no valid reason except just liking the movies…That is all.
